da Fonte spent the 2015 season with New York Red Bulls II. Da Fonte led Red Bulls II in minutes (2,003), games started (23) and was second in games played (25) in 2015. He also appeared in both of the club’s two USL playoff matches. Da Fonte was named to the USL Team of the Week for his performance in Week 13.
Prior to joining Red Bulls II, Da Fonte spent two seasons playing in Portugal, making 23 appearances with Espinho and 23 appearances with Pedras Salgadas, both of the Terceira Divisão Portuguesa (Portuguese third division). Da Fonte then returned to the United States and made the Red Bulls II roster through a tryout hosted prior to the season.
