Benfica and FC Porto are the only portuguese teams represented in a tournament that brings together 12 English teams and 12 European. The draw for the group stage put the SLBenfica club in Group A with Derby County, Sunderland and PSV. Worst luck had the 'dragons' that will face Liverpool, Leicester and Wolfsburg.
The Premier League International Cup takes place between August and December and will bring together the training sub-23 of 24 academies across Europe.
