The National Team will return to play in Madeira 16 years later. The Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) announced Thursday that Portugal will hold a preparation match with Sweden in Funchal on 28 March. The stage will be the refurbished Barreiros Stadium.
Our main squad have not played in Madeira for almost 16 years and this was a gift that we have long sought to give Madeira. We know well the unconditional affection that they devote us and also the affection they naturally devote to our captain Cristiano Ronaldo, who For the first time he will be able to represent the National Team together with his compatriots.
