João Sousa for the first time in the second round of the Auckland tournament
João Sousa qualified for the first time for the second round of the Auckland tournament in New Zealand after beating the Spaniard Alberto Ramos.
The Portuguese tennis player, 43, ranked ATP, beat the Spaniard Albert Ramos, 26th in the world rankings in two sets, 6-1 and 7-5.
In the second round João Sousa will face Briton Brydan Klein from qualification.
