U16 @Montaigu Tournament #Portugal he winner with wins over #France #Japan and #Mexico

Sub-16: Portugal vence França e conquista Torneio Internacional de Montaigu

The Portuguese U-16 soccer team won today the Montaigu International Tournament by beating France's congener in the final 3-1 with two goals from Úmaro Embaló.
The 'bis' of the Benfica player, the best scorer of the tournament, at 44 and 56 minutes, joined the goal of Gonçalo Gomes, who tied the game at 16, after Abdoulaye Dabo put the selection of the home to advantage to Eight minutes.

The Rui Bento-led side reached the final after beating Japan (2-1) in the semi-finals and beating Mexico (1-0) and England (3-0) in both Group B matches.

Portugal wins the tournament, held every year since 1976, for the third time in history, after the 2010 and 2012 triumphs, having also finished second in 1993 and 1994, in two lost finals for Cameroon, and in the last place of the Podium in 2003 and 2011
