Mário Gomes, national basketball coach, announced this Friday the list of 14 called for the new phase of pre-qualification for the 2019 World Cup.

It is worth mentioning the call of João Torrié, post of the Elecrtico of Ponte de Sor.

After the stage that starts in Luso on July 2, Mário Gomes will dispense two players and get only 12 for the pre-qualifying matches with Bulgaria (August 2 and 12) and Belarus (August 9 and 19) .

Bases: José Barbosa (Oliveirense), Tomás Barroso e Nuno Oliveira (Benfica) e Pedro Pinto (Vitória de Guimarães).
Extremos: Henrique Piedade (Martorell, Espanha), José Silva (FC Porto), Fábio Lima (CAB Madeira), João Soares (Benfica) e João Betinho Gomes (Trento, Itália).
Postes: Miguel Queiroz (FC Porto), João Guerreiro (V. Guimarães), Stefan Djukic e Pedro Belo (CAB Madeira) e João Torrié (Eléctrico Ponte de Sor).
