Alan Junior scored both goals
After a defeat in the opening round of the competition, against Villarreal B (3-2), Hélder Cristóvão's men reached a convincing victory today against West Ham's U23 formation, 0-2. Two goals from Alan Júnior, at 9 'and 27', sentenced a game with dominance.
With this victory, Benfica B add three points in Group F of the prestigious event and the next day, scheduled for January 24, 2018, face the Under-21 of Tottenham.
The B team return to the internal competitions next Sunday, at 11.15, with a trip to the stronghold of Leixões SC. This match is for the 14th round of the II Liga.
