Benfica's men's rugby team beat CR São Miguel, 40 to 30, in the 1st round game of the final phase of the National Division of Honor Championship.

At the Lisbon University Stadium, the eagles went into the break losing 6-10. In a 2nd half in which possession of the ball, combined with collective play, made the difference, Benfica turned the result around and won 40-30. The opponent in the 2nd round of the final phase is Belenenses, in a match scheduled for 4pm on Saturday, March 29th.
