The Portuguese Mariana Machado won, this Sunday morning, the bronze medal in the women's under-23 competition of the Europeans of cross, in Dublin.
Mariana Machado completed the six kilometers of the race in 20.36 minutes, the same time as Slovenian Klara Lukan (second place), both beaten by Italian favorite Nadia Battocletti, who finished the race in 20.32 minutes.
It should be noted that the young Portuguese athlete had also won bronze in 2019, then in the under-20 competition, held in Lisbon.
Lia Lemos also participated in the race, finishing in 24th place with 21.45 minutes.
