The swimmer Rafaela Azevedo broke this Thursday at Jamor, the absolute national record of the 50 meters backstroke, which already belonged to her, and guaranteed minimum points for the European long pool, which will take place in Rome.

In the Jamor2021 Swimming Open event, Rafaela Azevedo, from Sport Algés e Dafundo, swam the 50 meters backstroke in 28.24 seconds, making 19 hundredths below the previous mark (28.43).

With this result, the Sport Algés e Dafundo swimmer reached the minimum for the 2022 European Championships, scheduled for August.
