With an absolutely impressive CV in the context of Portuguese women's football - League (5), League Cup (5), Super Cup (3) and Portuguese Cup (1), Patão led Benfica to national hegemony and in the season that is now ending led the Eagles to an unprecedented fifth national championship - this after having led the Reds to win all domestic trophies last season, something that had also never happened before. In addition, the coach was also one of the faces of the success that Benfica achieved abroad, with the first time a Portuguese team reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
