Rui Pinto rose to the highest place of the podium male, totally dominated by Benfica, at the 40th edition of the São Silvestre da Amadora. Dorothy Peixoto was the winner in female.

Isolated early in front of the race, Rui Pinto completed the 10 kilometers of the route in 29.49 minutes, beating his team-mates Youssef El Kalai, who made his debut with the jersey of Benfica, and José Moreira, second and third, respectively.

In women, Dorothy Peixoto won with a time of 34.45 minutes, beating Claudia Pereira in 13 seconds.

Rui Pinto was also second in the Sao Silvestre do Porto
