The Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid) was named "person of the year 'in Palestine by the Foundation Lady on Earth, because of its humanitarian attitude towards children in the world, especially Palestinian children.
The tribute is scheduled for December 16 in Palestine, which are expected more than 1,200 personalities from all over the world.
Ronaldo, although very grateful for the award, can not be present, as will be participating in the Club World Cup.
