The men's senior team of Sport Lisboa e Benfica was crowned Saturday's National Road Champion by winning the National Championship of the specialty that took place in Jamor.
Benfica competed collectively in men's seniors and juniors, and also the younger ones were in evidence. They reinforced the superiority of the Club at the level of formation by achieving, also, the collective title.
Still in the masculine, but in individual terms, the Benfica Sub-23 athlete, André Pereira, won the national title.
In the women's sector, SL Benfica did not participate as a team, having been the victory of Sporting Clube de Portugal. Highlight for the excellent third place reached by Marta Pen, with the time of 34m55s.
