Benfica presented this Monday the basketball team for the 2018/19 season. The squad consists of 13 athletes, seven of which are reinforcements: Miguel Maria (formerly Vitória de Guimarães), Fábio Lima (ex-CAB Madeira), Jaques Conceição (formerly 1º de Agosto), Arnette Hallman Oliveirense), Quentin Snider (formerly Louisville Cardinals), Xavi Rey and Álex Suárez (both ex-Zaragoza).
