Cristiano Ronaldo send a thank you message to A Daei
Cristiano Ronaldo equaled this Wednesday the world record of goals for national teams, by scoring twice against France and equaling the 109 of the Iranian Ali Daei, in the third round of Group F of Euro2020, in Budapest.
After two goals against Hungary (3-0), to open, and the goal against Germany (2-4), in the second round, the Portuguese captain, 36 years old, again scored twice at Puskás Arena, in Budapest, with goals at 31 and 60 minutes, both penalty kicks, in his 178th 'AA' cap.
Congratulations to @cristiano who is now one goal away from breaking the men's international goal scoring record. I am honored that this remarkable achievement will belong to Ronaldo - great champion of football and caring humanist who inspires and impacts lives throughout the world.
