The first edition of the Women's Tour de France will have a symbolic start at the Eiffel Tower, in Paris, in the first stage to be raced in a circuit, at the Champs Elysees, where the men's race usually ends.

Presented today in Paris, the first Women's Tour, which will run from the 24th to the 31st of July 2022, will have 1,029 kilometers and will end at the Super Planche de Las Belles Filles, a very tough climb, where the Slovakian Tadej Pogacar ensured victory in the Tour the men's France of 2020.

he first stage, in Paris, will have 82 kilometers, with the Tour always following the North of France, with the second stage connecting Meaux and Provins (135 kilometers), before a run with the first difficulties, between Reims and Épernay ( 133).


The vineyards and stretches of unpaved earth will mark the fourth stage, between Troyes and Bar-Sue-Aube (126 kilometers), with the fifth taken being the longest in this first edition, with 175 kilometers, between Bar-de-Duc and Saint-Dié-Des-Voges, from where the next stage leaves for Rosheim (128).

The penultimate run, of 127 kilometers, between Sélestat and Le Markstein, will have several mountain counts, but decisions should be reserved for the last 123 kilometers, between Lure and La Super Planche des Belles Files.
