Luís Figo was yesterday at the Sporting Academy in Alcochete. The former Portuguese international marked the moment on social media, with a photo of the Lion symbol and the description “where it all began”.
Golden Ball in 2000, Luís Figo is a product of the formation of Sporting, a club he represented while 158 times between 1989 and 1995, having won a Cup of Portugal. This was followed by visits to Barcelona, Real Madrid and Inter Milan, from what is the third most international ever in the National Team.
