Rafa is now a Benfica player. Besiktas officially announced the transfer of the striker to Benfica this  Thursday. His presentation by Benfica is also scheduled for this Thursday. "An agreement has been reached regarding the definitive transfer of our professional football player Rafael Alexandre Fernandes Ferreira da Silva to SL Benfica," reads the statement from the Istanbul club, sent to the Turkish Public Disclosure Platform, but without revealing any figures.

Thus, the return of the number 27, who left Benfica without cost in 2024, is complete. Now,  Benfica  will pay approximately 5 million euros fixed for the signing. The deal will also include a bonus amount, which will not exceed R$ 1.5 million.

As Record reported this Thursday, the striker will have a salary similar to what he received when he left Benfica. This salary was around 2.2 million euros net annually.
