Samara Vieira has renewed here contract with Sport Lisbon and Benfica until 2027. For two seasons at the club, the Andebol player has shown confidence in the team's success.
Signed in 2024, the athlete lived this second season in the service of the eagles in special form, having been slow in competitions. At 34, Samara Vieira has made a special wish, counting on the club's total support.
"I'm very happy to renew another year with Benfica. It's going to be very special for me. I've been thinking about being a mother for a long time, but I've been helped a lot by supporting Benfica. it helped me quite a bit and in a lot of other things whether I like it or not, which works as an athlete thinks about a lot of things, so it was something that came out of my head and is going to be more," he revealed to BTV.
"During my pregnancy I continued to train and make some passes so I didn't feel so bad. Finally, it was about two months in that I stopped a little more and didn't get to go [train], but still did gymnastics. Couldn't wait to started.
