Patrick Tomás Santos Moreira, 16-year-old goalkeeper (20/10/2009), was signed by Sport Lisbon and Benfica.

Junior Under-18, Patrick Moreira joins Glorioso from FC Alverca, the club he represented in the last two seasons. Before this stage, he started his sporting career in CER Tenente Valdez, going through SMD Caneças, UDR Santa Maria and Sporting.

Rafael Quintas officially renewed his contract with SL Benfica. The 18-year-old midfielder signed a new long-term deal that ties him to the club until June 2031, complete with a €60 million release clause.

After overcoming initial complications regarding his future development plans, the young Portuguese standout and European Under-17 world champion accepted a transition to the Benfica B squad for the upcoming season

19-year-old Nigerian winger Peter Edokpolor has renewed his contract with Benfica this summer.

"This renewal means a lot to me. I am very happy to renew with this amazing club. I consider Benfica one of the two best clubs in the world, so I am very happy. It is a great privilege to be able to play at Benfica, I am very happy to stay and continue here.

In preparation for his third start of the season, Peter Edokpolor represented Benfica's Under-23s and B team last season. In total, the young player has scored 6 goals in 35 appearances.

In the 2025/26 season, the winger/forward made 35 appearances and scored 6 goals for Benfica, split between the Portuguese Liga 2 (19J, 3G), the Revelation League (12J, 2G), the Revelation Cup (1J) and the Premier League International Cup (3J, 1G).
