At the end of another edition of the World Skate Games, Luís Sénica, president of the Portuguese Skating Federation (FPP), gave a positive assessment of the national participation in the competition held in Asunción. With 61 athletes competing in artistic skating (dance and freestyle), speed skating, roller hockey, and skateboarding, Portugal won a total of nine medals – 3 gold, 2 silver, and 4 bronze.

"I believe we've just entered the top 10 [editor's note: Portugal finished 11th]. There are four disciplines, 91 countries, and we are satisfied. It's the final result of the collective work of our disciplines, very positive for us, and it's a source of satisfaction. We would have liked a few more medals. They were within reach, there was determination from our teams, our coaches, and the various disciplines. Therefore, I think Portugal is doing well in figure skating and it has to be seen that way in the context of the World Games," the 62-year-old official began, speaking to the Portuguese press in the Paraguayan capital.

Now we just got a get a TV contract the will televise all of the disciplines.  World Skate Games are now over can't wait for 2028 games
