NY Cosmos re emerge in NASL

The NY Cosmos are back, after nearly 30 yr absence, the Cosmos joined the North America Soccer League yesterday.  The team will begin league play in the 2013 season.   NASL Commissioner David Downs says the plan will reunite the Cosmos, Strikers, Rowdies, Roughnecks, Surf, etc  and several markets with ties to the NASL's early days.    Late reports the home field would be at Hofstra University.
