The last stage of the 2016 edition of the Tour of Portugal in bike will be a Trial stage [ contrarelógio], which will connect Vila Franca de Xira and Lisbon, revealed this Sunday Joaquim Gomes.
The director of the national cycling calendar announced at the end of the tenth stage of the 77th edition, which next year will be the last one taken contrarrelógio, as had long been requested by the public.
The last time the Tour of Portugal ended with a fastest time was in 2009, Viseu, which confirmed the victory of the Spanish rider David Blanco.
