Cristiano Ronaldo will have reached an agreement with the Spanish tax authorities and closed the judicial process that had been dragging for some time, according to the Spanish press.
According to "El Mundo", Ronaldo accepted the conditions imposed by the Tax Agency, that is, recognized the four tax offenses, which means a penalty of two years (six months for each crime), but is suspended.
The Portuguese striker will also pay a fine of 18.8 million euros, but that is substantially lower than initially required. The fraud is reduced to 5.7 million and what goes up to 18.8 corresponds to fines and interest.
For this agreement to be valid, only the signature of the new Director of the Tax Agency will be lacking.
