With the Serie A title race heating up between Juventus, Lazio and Inter Milan, ESPN are promoting 19 games to its TV networks during the next 30 days.
Before the coronavirus, ESPN would often feature one Serie A match per week on television, usually on ESPN2 or ESPNEWS during the early Sunday morning hours. But with the lack of live sports on U.S. television, the Italian top-flight league will benefit from increased exposure during the next month.
However, don’t get too excited quite yet. Out of the 19 televised games, none of them will feature Juventus or Inter Milan. Instead, the televised games will serve as a way to whet your appetite for Italian soccer. But the bigger matches that will have a more significant impact on the title will be exclusively available via ESPN+, the paid subscription streaming service from ESPN.
At $4.99 per month for ESPN+, though, who could argue with that?https://worldsoccertalk.com/2020/06/19/espn-to-broadcast-19-serie-a-games-on-tv-in-next-30-days/
