Barcelona made official the departure of Pau Bargalló at the end of the season. As revealed more than a year ago, the Catalans' goalscorer will reinforce Benfica next season.
"I announce that I will not continue at Barça. Today is a sad day for me," said the 30-year-old captain of the Spanish team, in a video published on social media. The player, considered by many to be the best in the world, was at the end of his contract with the Catalans and accepted Benfica's invitation.
Last season he scored 66 goals in 46 games. This season he has scored 49 goals in 37 matches. He is Barcelona's second top scorer, just behind João Rodrigues, a striker who will also head to Benfica next season.HÓQUEI EM PATINS
