Vitória Oliveira 2nd place in the 20 km walk of the World Race Walking Tour, in Dublin, Ireland 👏👏

Vitória Oliveira won second place yesterday (December 15) in the 20 km walk event at the Irish Championships, a competition that closes the 2024 World Athletics Race Walking Circuit (bronze category).

The Benfica athlete crossed the finish line in 1h34m05s, behind Mexican Karla Serrano (1:33.38) and ahead of British Abigail Jennings (1:44.04).

In the same competition, João Vieira (Sporting) crossed the finish line in sixth place, with a time of 1h25m59s, in a race (20 km) dominated by Irishman David Kenny (1:22.31).

In the 10 km walk for under-20 athletes, Benfica's Leandro Silva stood out, coming in second with 47m26s, behind Irishman Matthew Newell (45.44).
