The Sounders and their fans singlehandedly (multi-handedly?) bumped up the Week 22 average attendance figure by more than 4,000 Sunday night, taking it from 18,000 and change to 22,201.
Four sellouts were achieved in the nine matches of the week, bringing the season total to 88. Of those 88, 54 have occurred in Western Conference markets.
Through 210 matches this season, the cumulative attendance total is just shy of four million at 3,976,163 for an average of 18,934 per match.
