Pinhel will receive a stage of the Tour of Portugal, 35 years later, the 77th Tour of Portugal one of the oldest in the World will take place from July 29th and August 9, and Pinhel will receive a starting stage.  

"The Pinhelenses love cycling and this is a unique opportunity to promote the region from the entire country that accompanies the Tour," said the president of the local authority, Rui Ventura.


The last time the Tour visited that city happened in 1979 when triumphed Jacinto Paulinho da Manique / Abitare team.
