 7.º Grande Prémio Liberty Seguros – Troféu do Sudoeste e Costa Vicentina será disputado por 22 equipas, oriundas de nove países: Portugal, Equador, Estados Unidos da América, Grã-Bretanha, Letónia, Noruega, Polónia, Rússia e Suécia.

The 2015 edition of the Algarve Cyclin'Portugal program ends next weekend with the realization, Saturday and Sunday, the 7th Grand Prix Liberty Seguros - Trophy Southwest and Costa Vicentina.

The race, scoring for the European ranking, has two stages and a total of 394.9 kilometers. The starting shot will be given in Sines, at 10:50 am Saturday. In the first stage the peloton will roll over 207.3 kilometers, ending the trip in Vila do Bispo, at about 15:40. The first passage through the target is scheduled for 14.30. A mountain count of third category, just 31.3 kilometers from the finish is the last obstacle to overcome by fast men on a journey in which it is expected that sprinters have a say.

The second stage is starting (10:50) and arrival (15:15) in Beja. The runners will face 187.6 kilometers, a gently rolling route than the day before, suitable for runners all terrain try their luck.


The 7th Grand Prix Liberty Seguros - Trophy Southwest and Costa Vicentina will be contested by 22 teams, coming from nine countries: Portugal, Ecuador, United States, Great Britain, Latvia, Norway, Poland, Russia and Sweden


Cyclin'Portugal Algarve, in competitive terms, started the Tour of the Algarve, continued the Classical Loulé European City of Sport and the International Trophy porch of the Guadiana, ending with the 7th Grand Prix Liberty Seguros - Trophy and West Coast Vicentina.

Over these four competitions, the south of the country received 25 foreign teams from three continents and 13 different countries: Germany, Belgium, Kazakhstan, Ecuador, Spain, United States, Britain, the Netherlands, Latvia, Norway, Poland , Russia and Sweden.

The balance of the first edition is extremely positive. Was achieved the strategic objective of the state south of the country as a destination for cycling practice, having been generated thousands of overnight stays, the regional economy is boosting-by fighting to seasonality. Fundamental to this economic balance were also the two masses of events Cyclin'Portugal Algarve - Algarve Granfondo and Algarve Bike Challenge.


Sportingly, the Cyclin'Portugal Algarve has been characterized by high quality races, helping to increase the competitive pace of Portuguese teams, that certainly will prove to be profitable in the medium term, the international holdings of these collectives.
