Benfica confirmed Gilson Costa's loan to Arouca. The midfielder of 20 years, linked to th e SL Benfica until June 2021, signed for the formation Arouquense until the end of the season, according to information published on the official website of Benfica.
With the imminent departure of captain Nuno Coelho for Nantes, the Arouca receives a player to a position that will be lacking. Gilson Costa is a defensive midfielder and has been used in the B team of the Eagles, although he lost some space in the last month in the choices of Hélder Cristóvão.
Also note that Gilson completed the last stage of the formation in Benfica, having represented Sporting and Belenenses.
