Jose Mourinho father died today
José Manuel Mourinho Felix was one of the most illustrious figures of the Vitoria of Setúbal, at the service of which, during the most golden period of the history of the sadino emblem, fulfilled more than a hundred and fifty games.
He participated in the victory of the first Portuguese Cup in 1964/1965, with a triumph in the final against Benfica, 3-1.
Goalkeeper of merits signed, also represented the Belenenses, having added an international cap, on June 25, 1972, in a challenge with the Republic of Ireland, referring to the Tournament of Independence of Brazil, held in Recife and that Portugal won by 2- 1.
He began his career as a trainer at Restelo, going through several clubs until returning to his origins. In Bonfim, he came to lead the main team in the 1990s.
Through his hands passed other figures of Vitoria , who molded as players and as men.
In recent years, his presence in Bonfim, where he was cherished by all that crossed him, ceased to be, for reasons of health, so assiduous.
