Rui Vitória chose four youngsters from the team, all with 20 years old and past team B, to join the main squad in the pre-season.

The decision was taken before the start of the holiday and center-back Rúben Dias, midfielders Pedro Rodrigues, also known as Pêpê, and João Carvalho, and forward / forward Diogo Gonçalves are the ones chosen to make the leap.
