Rui Costa (UAD) was 19th in the second stage of the Dow Under Tour, with the same time as the winner, Australian Caleb Ewan (MTS) who 'stole' the lead from the race to Andre Griepel (LTS).

Rui Costa thus guarantees a rise from 42nd to 17th place, being 16 seconds behind the new leader.

At the end of the link between Unley and Stirling (148.6 kilometers) in Australia, Rúben Guerreiro appears as the second best Portuguese overall in 28th place. Next are Nélson Oliveira (60th), Tiago Machado (66th), Nuno Bico (70th) and José Gonçalves (86th).
