The Liga NOS ends only this Sunday (with three games regarding the decisions on stay / descent) but the European qualifications for 2020/21 are already assigned, as well as the dates when the qualified teams will predictably start the international competitions of the next season.
With regard to the Champions League, the situation was already closed and FC Porto (group stage) and Benfica (3rd qualifying round) already knew their respective destinations. So this Saturday was the Europa League to stay closed. First with Rio Ave to guarantee 5th place at the expense of Famalicão. The Vilacondenses beat Boavista 2-0 and the Famalicenses drew with Marítimo (3-3), in an epic encounter with an incredible ending.
