Benfica's women's football team got to know the BPI League calendar, released on Tuesday (August 18) by the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF) and the Champions League calendar, released by UEFA.
The 1st round of the Liga BPI will take place on September 27, however, in the statement from the Portuguese Football Federation it can be read that the competitions "may, exceptionally and during the 2020/21 season, be subject to changes due to potential changes to the international calendar to be defined by FIFA and UEFA ", in addition to" exceptional circumstances that dictate the possible stoppage of the competition ".
The 1st round of the Portuguese Cup will take place on 1 November, while the League Cup kicks off on 3 January.
At the international level, namely in the Champions League, the eagles - who participate for the first time in the competition - also learned when they will enter the competition.

The team led by Luís Andrade will participate in the Qualification Phase, which will take place between the 7th, 10th and 13th of October. The draw for qualifying matches will start in the first week of September in Nyon, however, there is still no official date. The women's Champions League final will be played in May at the Gamla Ullevi Stadium (photo above) in Gothenburg.
