#Portugal #ligarevelacao U 23 League with 14 teams

 

The new season of the Revelation League, which kicks off on the 12th of this month, will have a new format, according to the Portuguese Football Federation. The fourteen teams competing in the competition will be divided into two series of seven teams each for a first phase of the competition. The two series are divided between North (Académica, SC Braga, Boavista, Famalicão, Leixões, Rio Ave and Vitória de Guimarães) and South (B SAD, Benfica, Cova da Piedade, Estoril, Marítimo, Portimonense and Sporting). They are the first three classified in each of the series that are qualified for the champion qualification phase, as well as for the Revelation Cup. The eight teams that do not dispute the champion qualification will be involved in the qualification for the Revelation Cup, for which only two of these teams will be qualified. In this way, the Revelation Cup will have eight teams, in a competition to eliminate whose quarters and semi-finals will be played in two hands.
