The Portuguese already lost in the gold point, by ippon, after the initial four minutes of combat, when accumulating three punishments, when her opponent also had two 'shido'.
However, there is the merit of having won his 14th medal in an equal number of participations in Europeans, proof that he has always been on the podium since his debut, at the age of 18, in 2004, having since accumulated five gold medals , two silver and seven bronze.
The Europeans in Prague continue this Friday, with the participation of the Portuguese João Fernando (-73 kg), Anri Egutidze and João Martinho (-81 kg) and Bárbara Timo and Joana Crisóstomo (-70g).
