Portuguese-French central defender Damien da Silva is the latest addition to Olympique Lyonnais, the French club announced on Wednesday. The 33-year-old is the son of an emigrant from the Vila Nova de Famalicão area and has Portuguese nationality, although he has always grown up and played in France. Damien da Silva leaves Rennes after three seasons and at the end of his contract. The defender has now signed a two-year contract with Lyon.
