Palmeiras presented Abel Ferreira with a proposal to renew with the Portuguese coach. The club's management offered another two-year contract, an offer that, according to Globoespoerte, also includes a salary increase and a guarantee that the coach's wishes will be respected in terms of entry and exit from the squad.
Abel Ferreira is on vacation in Portugal and should respond to the club's proposal this week.
In his portfolio, the 42-year-old coach will also have proposals from clubs in the United States and Turkish Besiktas. The proposal by Al-Nassr, from Saudi Arabia, which offered 20 million euros for a two-and-a-half-year contract, was rejected, according to the same source.
