This evening the Club's Ordinary General Assembly met at the Acácio Rosa Pavilion, with the presence of seventy-four members, the Annual Report having been approved with sixty-four votes in favour, one vote against and two abstentions.
The document resulted in an excellent evolution of the Belenenses Accounts, which between 2014 and 2021 reduced liabilities from more than 14 million euros to 5 million in 2021, of which only 1.9 million are liabilities payable. In the same period, equity rose from €2,459,013 to €7,827,035, with the Club currently not registering any debt with the Tax Authority and Social Security.
In parallel, the magna meeting allowed the Club Board to provide a series of clarifications to members related to the requalification process of the Restelo Complex, and also to the situation of the legal proceedings that oppose the Club to Codecity. In this context, and within the scope of the main action that was underway at the Intellectual Property Court, President Patrick Morais de Carvalho informed the Assembly that the Club was notified today of the decision of the Court of Appeal of Lisbon to annul the first decision, ordering the repetition of the process in the first instance.
