Portugal will be represented by 11 athletes at the indoor track and field Athletics World Cups, with Carlos Nascimento, Francisco Belo and Tiago Luís Pereira, who did not confirm the minimums, making the list for Belgrade (Serbia).
In the list released this Tuesday by the Portuguese Athletics Federation (FPA), is Pedro Pichardo, Olympic and European champion in indoor triple jump.
Also noteworthy were the presences of Patrícia Mamona, Olympic runner-up and European triple-jump indoor track champion, and Auriol Dongmo, European indoor track weight champion and holder of the best world mark of the year, with 19.90 meters.
Carlos Nascimento (60 meters), Francisco Belo (weight) and Tiago Luís Pereira (triple jump) had achieved minimums in 2021, but did not confirm them this year, ending up, however, being summoned to the Belgrade World Cups, between 18 and 20 March.
