The women's U-15 National Team beat their counterparts from Iceland this Monday, 2-0, at Cidade do Futebol, in Oeiras. This clash was related to the UEFA Development Tournament.
Remember that the National Team was defeated by the German Team, by 11-1.
Both teams started the first half of the match well, with excellent goal opportunities, but the national team started stronger. In the 21st minute, Leonor Poças opened the scoring and Ariana Monteiro (41') increased the advantage for the corner team.
In the second half of the match, the Portuguese tried to increase the team's goals, but in the end none were conceded by either side, thus sealing the victory for the national team.
The quinas team has scheduled another meeting against Spain (November 23), also in Cidade do Futebol.
