The rider Rui Costa, Movistar, on Sunday became the first Portuguese to win a stage race for the World Tour by winning the Tour of Switzerland. The Portuguese rider, 25, donned the yellow jersey after victory in the second stage, after having endured the yellow sweater in the following seven steps, despite the many attacks from opponents.
