The Under-17 National Team will participate between 7 and 16 July, the Commonwealth Games VIII of Portuguese Language Countries (CPLP), which will be held in Mafra, bringing together athletes from eight countries: Portugal, Angola, Brazil, Cape Verde, Guinea-Bissau, Mozambique, Sao Tome and Principe and East Timor. For this important competition, the National Coach, Philip Ramos, drew 18 athletes, which will focus on 1 July, in Carterton, where the team estagiará before leaving for the region of Mafra. Here is the list of squad:

Benfica SAD: Costa, Gonçalo Guedes, Rafael Lopes e Romário Baldé;

Boavista SAD: Diogo Verdasca;

FC Porto SAD: João Costa e Ruben Neves;

Padroense FC: Clever; Macedo, Mota e Sérgio Ribeiro;

Sporting SAD: Bernardo, Hugo Meira, Rafael Barbosa e Serrano;

Varzim SC: Gamboa e Rafa;

Vitória SC: Ricardo Carvalho.
