The Portuguese rider Rui Costa (Lampre-Merida) won today for the third consecutive time the Tour of Switzerland after winning the ninth and final stage, which called Martigny to Saas-Fee, at the distance of 156.5 kilometers. Rui Costa won the first competition since they were crowned world champion road by winning the last stage, which ended with a special mountain count with 14 seconds advantage over direct stalker, Bauke Mollema Dutch (Belkin Pro), and 24 over third-placed Swiss Mathias Frank (AMI Cycling).
