The Portuguese international Cristiano Ronaldo has been elected by the Spanish League player of the month of May.
In the last four league matches this month, CR7 made three hat-tricks (Seville, Spanish and Getafe) getting blank only in the match against Valencia.
These nine goals helped Ronaldo to finish the season as league's top scorer ahead of Lionel Messi - 48 to 43 of the Argentine.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored a total of 61 goals for the season and the first player to scored 50 or more goals in the last 5 seasons.
