There are still six formations to make up the 24 desired by the organization, there are also chances of running in the Algarve more World Tour sets, namely Sky, winner of the last two editions through the British Geraint Thomas, and Trek, now with Alberto Contador, knowing It is said that the Spaniard especially likes to start the season in the Tour of the Algarve.
The remaining teams already confirmed are divided by the Professional ranks (2º) - Caja Rural (ESP), Gazprom (RUS), Manzana (COL) and Wanty (BEL) - and Continental (3rd), which includes the six teams Portuguese and for now also the Rally Cycling, coming from the United States.
