Central defender Carolina Correia renewed here contract with Sport Lisboa e Benfica until 2025. The 20-year-old athlete has represented the Club since 2018, having completed her training in Luz, where she aims to assert herself after winning her first National Championship women's football.
It is a unique moment for Carolina Correia, as she made a point of underlining in statements to BTV, the one in which she extends her link to the emblem of the heart.
"It's a unique feeling, it's a dream come true, even more being a Benfica fan since I was little. I'm very happy to be able to sign my first professional contract at this great Club", she said.
